We opened Solar Flare Tanning Salon in May of 2005, because we could not find a tanning salon that we felt provided the atmosphere, product knowledge and customer service that we expected. So, we decided to raise the bar for all other salons by opening what we felt was the nicest and cleanest salon in the area. We are Smart Tan Certified and our staff is trained on all the products sold in the salon. There is no high pressure selling by the staff and because they are properly trained they can guide you rather than let you guess what's best for you. 

 

So come in and take a tour of our facility or, ask us for a lesson in lotion and discover the difference a great salon can make. Let us guide you on your way to a great tan. We always carry a huge selection of lotion, we are well versed in the ingredients and purpose of each product and we do not just push the most expensive bottle on every one. Each line we carry has a special purpose for each skin type and if you need a basic accelerator than that is what we will suggest. Music is provided in each room and each room has volume control.



So whether you like to dance in a stand-up or, sleep in a lay down we treat you right.





*** DUE TO THE NEW YORK STATE LAW *** - We do not allow anyone under the age of 18 to tan in our facility without PARENTAL CONSENT. - Anyone under the age of 14 is cautioned not to tan but is permitted if a parent/guardian remains in the salon during the entire session. We are very strict about the law and follow our policy closely; there must be a parental consent form signed in the salon and we must have a copy of the tanners parent/guardian's license on file - must be renewed every six months; and parents now have the ability to control how many months their signature will be good for (1- 6 months).  To read the law in full please go to http://www.co.suffolk.ny.us/.  Below is a copy of our consent form.  Originals must be signed at the tanning salon.
